In this Rumplestiltskin retelling you follow a young girl orphaned by the war who is desperate to keep her brothers fed, even if it means pulling a good con.
Eventually, she finds her heart pulled in two different directions and must choose which path her life will follow. But every choice has consequences. . .
The writing is fluid and the setting vivid, making this an easy read. Outside of a few small typos, I enjoyed this new take on an old favorite and can easily recommend it. It’s a good clean book that leads you straight toward book two.
