I was delightfully surprised by this clean, whimsical, topsy-turvy book. The author creates a fresh perspective of an old favorite, and there were plot twists I didn’t see coming as well as the cutest budding romance between Alice and Chess Shire. I absolutely recommend this read and am woefully disappointed the second book isn’t out yet. Can’t wait to see how the story ends!
